Homecoming Shabbat

It is UMBC Hillel's annual tradition to host families of current students and alumni for Shabbat dinner during Homecoming weekend each year. This year is especially exciting since Homecoming coincides with the Jewish fall harvest festival of Sukkot, so if the weather holds us, we'll celebrate outside in the Sukkah (hut) on Commons Terrace, which will be decked out in black & gold for the occasion. If not, we'll be in the Skylight Room (our usual location each year) on the third floor of the Commons. Services on Friday, October 14 will be at 6 PM followed by dinner at 7. We ask that you RSVP right here by October 6 at the latest so we know we have the right amount of food for dinner. The cost is $18 per adult and $10 per child under 13 years old. Questions? Please email hillel@umbc.edu. Looking for the rest of the Homecoming Schedule? You can find it right here.
